Getting ready for Christmas

<P>Another year is coming to a close.  Christmas is just around the corner....<BR><BR>I don't enjoy Christmas as much as I used to as a kid.  I think societies version of Christmas is a bit fake and commercial.  When I look at the state of humanity in the world I wonder wouldn't it be better to celebrate Christmas by doing the Lord's work in the world rather than worrying about the presents one has to buy for family and friends, and stuffing one's face over Christmas dinner.  I think people should spend Christmas working to help those in peril, working to maintain humanity in the world, and working to stop injustice and ensure justice for all worthy people.<BR><BR>One good thing to happen this year is Barack Obama being voted to become president of the U.S.  It's not about colour - it's about the quality of the individual.  <BR><BR><BR>A little boy said to his grandfather. "Make a frog noise for me, Grandad."<BR>"No son, I don't feel like making a frog noise right now."<BR>"Oh, please, Grandad, make a frog noise."<BR>"No, I don't want to."<BR>"Oh please, Grandada, make a frog noise."<BR>"Why is it so important to you that I make a frog noise?"<BR>"Cos Mum says when you croak we can go to Disneyworld."<BR><BR>The worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades.<BR><BR><IMG alt="" src="http://www.findandmakefriends.com/file/smile/biggrin.gif" phpfox="image-protect" mce_src="http://www.findandmakefriends.com/file/smile/biggrin.gif"></P>
